I believe that SCRT reports the highest *combined* rolling 4-hour average. That is, that time when both LPARS added together register the highest; not the peaks from two different times added together.

P = 100 MSUs T = 50 MSUs Total = 150 MSUs In the course of a month, T could reach its maximum rolling avg of 50 MSUs on a different day to P. On a different day P could use 30 additional spare MSUs from T thus totalling 130 MSUs plus the 50 from T. Without GCL, the total bill would be 130 + 50 MSUs = 180 MSUs With GCL the total bill is fixed to the group maximum of 150 MSUs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
