My operations area was attempting to clean items of the JES2 spool today
because it was filling up. They did this, as they have in the past, by
issuing the $TOJ command to select jobs and rerouting them to the writer
($TOJ(nnnnn),OUTGRP=n.n.n,NDISP=WRITE). Well the made an error and
instead of rerouting my oldest job run the rerouted my most recent job
run. I'd like to suggest another method, but I'm rusty on JES2
commands. So I have a couple of questions of the gurus.

There is a parameter on the $TO command that is RECORDS=. If that is
put on the command does it affect output groups with exactly that number
of records or does it affect output groups with that number and higher.

I'm thinking of suggesting to operations that they use the following
command. What I trying to do is reroute all jobs that are older than a
certain number of days and larger than a certain number of records.
Will it work?

$TOJ,DAYS>n,RECORDS=nnnnnn
