Symbols like &SYSCLONE., &SYSNAME. etc. need no explicit definition, because they are set by the system. All symbols can be displayed by "D SYMBOLS" cmd.
Hope this helps Dietmar -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: IBM Mainframe Discussion List [mailto:[email protected]] Im Auftrag von larry macioce Gesendet: Mittwoch, 25. I know that parmlib member ieasymxx contains system substitutions , but when we IPL I see others: IEA007I STATIC SYSTEM SYMBOL VALUES 065 &SYSALVL. = "2" &SYSCLONE. = "P1" &SYSNAME. = "DOLCP1" &SYSPLEX. = "DOLCPLEX" &SYSR1. = "SYSRES" &SYCI1. = "SYCIC1" The only one I can find is the syci1 entry. I have looked at all defined parmlibs(as defined in our sys1.iplparm) members(did a 3.14 on the libs) so I am now lost. Where are/could these other symbol be defined?? thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
