I would add DKMS as an additional item to help manage and secure keys. I am pretty sure it has a new name now. If you need help managing your crypto keys.. this is a good way to do it. ICSF is a requirement .. CEX2C etc.
There can be lots of hidden issues with managing symmetric keys.. attempting to address all the issues with ICSF, can mean additional and unexpected coding requirements.
