But that won't work if BLKSIZE is coded in the DCB.  It's dismaying
that some programmers are apparently so sophisticated as to code
a DCB exit, then choose a bad value.  (But I did it in 3350 era;
BLKSIZE=6000.)

IEBGENER is vacillating.  It's now a PARM option.  For a while it made
the fault SDB, but it has reverted to propagating; likely because of
customer input.
