I really was thinking of the STARTED class, not the attribute. Trusted did exist in ICHRIN03, but I guess most of the shops I was at (including this one) never updated it for OMVS. But I am sure that the initial zFS Admin guide did not include the note about making it trusted. That was added later. I'm sure because I implemented it here initially without it and later had TRUSTED added. I had to provide IBM documentation to support the change for the auditors.
