We've been able to get the NPIV active. The advice given was invaluable. Once the guest had the device reattached, NPIV WWPN was passed to the switch. Looking back through the redbook, these steps are are at the back end of the process, or may be we lost in translation. Time for another read. Again, thankyou for responding.
