Show me piece of IBM mainframe software that wasn't a crock when it first started. Remember the days when CICS didn't have storage protection?
It's usable now, but the horse has well and truly bolted. Should have been zLinux from the start.
OE was around when Linus was still at Uni. Don't knock it until you've "really tried it" mate ;). It's not perfect but it's useful and it's getting better all the time.
