All,

I've taken a quick look through the books, but nothing leaps out at me.

We are a SA390 shop for automation. The problem we have is STC's under
SA control that get manually shutdown outside of SA390 control can
sometime cause problems with automation. I'm aware that I could logon
to SA390, and using the panels shutdown a task, and then start it back
up.

What I am wondering is: Is there some sort of built-in function to do
this all from the console? We find(and I am guilty too), that in the
heat of the moment, no one bothers to recycle STC's because you have to
logon to SA390 to do it. Am I making sense? Making up an example, I'm
thinking something like %SA390,$PJES2 where %SA390 is some sort of
CLIST, or builtin SA function that issues the proper SA commands to
"tell" SA390 to shutdown JES2(or any other task for that matter).

Thanks in advance,

Dave
