All, I've taken a quick look through the books, but nothing leaps out at me.
We are a SA390 shop for automation. The problem we have is STC's under SA control that get manually shutdown outside of SA390 control can sometime cause problems with automation. I'm aware that I could logon to SA390, and using the panels shutdown a task, and then start it back up. What I am wondering is: Is there some sort of built-in function to do this all from the console? We find(and I am guilty too), that in the heat of the moment, no one bothers to recycle STC's because you have to logon to SA390 to do it. Am I making sense? Making up an example, I'm thinking something like %SA390,$PJES2 where %SA390 is some sort of CLIST, or builtin SA function that issues the proper SA commands to "tell" SA390 to shutdown JES2(or any other task for that matter).
