This problem was discussed, but not resolved, in a thread named "width of 
postings" July 18-19 2007. In that thread, in one of my posts, I suggested it 
might be a problem with the HTML built by the Listserv program, and referred 
to similar problems described here:

I still think the problem is in Listserv.
