Any of these arguments really matter? The OP is stuck with an idiot manager 2-levels "above" his manager (promote the incompetent) so he can't say much about it.
No offense to you, John, but I hope some other manager 2-levels "above" the idiot notices the error down the road. Maybe then you'll get you obviously cheaper (in the long run) z9bc back.
