DCOLLECT has all of this information (including DSN) for BACKUP, ML0, ML1, ML2. We process all of these records nightly.
AFAIK, there is no way to tell if someone has coded xxxxCLAS= in their JCL. HTH, <snip> Subject: How to determine if a MGMT/DATA/STOR class is used I know I can use MXG + SAS to probably do this. But I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how to determine if the STORCLAS/DATACLAS/MGMTCLAS is actually being used. I know when I translate the ACS code it will provide some clues, but I want a way to provide a report to show the truth. I probably would like the DSN HQL associated with the xCLAS classes, but really just need to know if xCLAS was used at all. I might have it coded in the ACS routine but not really used. i.e. The dataset is not seen. </snip> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
