If you still interested, I wrote couple of years ago a SUBSYSTEM use
APPC (LU6.2) to access PC data something like this:
//OUTPUT DD DSN='T:/miklos/K0917.MVS',DISP=SHR,
// DCB=(RECFM=VB,LRECL=8192),
// SUBSYS=(QNTA,'SYSTEM=OS2APPC9,DATA=AFPDS')
