IBM-Main is a true listserver, and you're only posting to the newsgroup
via USENET. Do a Google on IBMMain and follow the instructions for
really accessing the listserver. After you're subscribed, you can issue
a SET NOMAIL to follow the group via USENET, but you should always post
by sending an Email to [email protected].
I would try running VRSEL by itself to see if the tape is picked back
up. If the RELEASE actions are only SCRATCH, and the tape is in its
HOME location, it will be scratched on the next EXPROC run.
