Mike, Issue this command RMM CV volser RETPD(1) before running any other rmm batch processing. This will return it from "pending release". This is covered in the rmm G&R CHANGEVOLME command 'Changing pending actions To reclaim volumes: . . . .'
You could do the same under the dialog - VOLUME CHANGE .... and enter a period in the Retention Period field.
