Retries and retention are controlled by the Infoprint Server Printer Definition (on the IP PrintWay options screen) or in JCL. The default, if nothing is specified in either case, is to not retain or retry the job in the event of a failure. A message will be written to the message log (see Infoprint Central or the aoplogu command to retrieve the messages).
