I had a DF-Sort question and it was answered (sorted out so to say :-).

Believe me, it's a complex and very dynamic system we're talking about here. I 
don't think it is useful to explain the gory details here; it would merely 
clutter up the list. Apart from the fact that  in most cases the sort work 
space will be overallocated, there is no real drawback in using 
DYNALLOC=(dev,nnn) with a reasonably high  nnn. We'll think about ways to 
change "nnn" depending on the estimated load (this is the tricky point), but 
that has low priority.

Please, don't get me wrong. I very much appreciate all your suggestions.
