So much speculation, yet no one has attempted the merest
confirmation that the data on the receiving end are the
same as on the sending end.  And a gross inconsistency
in data set sizes provokes a strong suspicion that they
are not.  (But it might just be overallocation.)

Again:

   cp -B "//'censored.trs'" /dev/fd/1 | wc

   cp -B "//'censored.trs'" /dev/fd/1 | cksum

Or, use similar, probably better, ICSF functions.  IBM
computers don't make mistakes; the Net does.
