I wonder if a z/OS port of the following language would be of interest. It might be an interesting way to get some performance information for those of us who cannot afford SAS.

And it doesn't run on z/OS. It does run on both Linux and Windows. But, unlike SAS on Linux/Windows, it cannot direct read z/OS data via ftp, as best as I can see.
