I think to most here the argument against mainframes from a technical point of view is wrong. But I wondering if another aspect has to be looked at. That is IBM's sales, licensing and promotion of their technology. I realize all this is old news. But lack of promotion (compared to other companies) and lack of development of new talent in younger generations..........
