It is not that "ISPF" suppresses the informational (or any) messages, but the 
WTPMSG PROFILE setting (see TSO/E SYSHELP on PROFILE).  This can be overridden 
from a Clist (or EXEC) via CONTROL MSG/NOMSG, which sets &SYSMSG (see the TSO/E 
Clist manual).

I do not work on File-AID, so I cannot speak to what it suppresses (or 
unsuppresses).  I recommend that you do indeed take the next step and contact 
our support center for assistance.  You may also want to search Frontline for 
any recent and related fixes or tech bulletins.
