We are in the process of that upgrade also, the frames are different, RACK mounted, and no HMC is required, HMA, is a virtual HMC, depends on your requirements and current configuration, there's a lot of new functions and features for encryption and FICON channels. software, I'm 2.3 moving to 2.4 so the normal migration requirements, check FIXCAT's or for old school PSB bucket or both :) not much else I can think of off hand.
