As I read this, if you're with IBM Outsourcing you job is headed off to NewCo; for the rest of us nothing much changes. Unfortunately I don't see much hope of an increased or distraction-free focus on Z; instead Z becomes even more of a footnote to Red Hat and cloud. (Just my reading of things; I don't really know any more than anyone else.)
