I'm not sure what you are asking. There is nothing special about low level qualifiers, and a symbol is a symbol no matter where it occurs.
If you're asking about a catalog alias, that's a high level qualifier by default, or multiple qualifiers, not never a LLQ. If you really are asking about symbols as LLQs, e.g., "TOM.DICK.HARRY.&FOO", they can be set and displayed programmatically, by the operator, etc., but ".A" and ".B" do not contain references to symbols. -- Shmuel (Seymour J.)
