I was out of town this week.  I  will look into why that
isn't working next week.  In the meantime, you can try

SLIP SET,IF,A=WAIT,N=(IEEVEXSN,0,1),etc...

  That should work as long as the spin isn't in some code running under 
the program check FLIH (like spinning for an RSM lock
while processing a page fault).
