Elardus, Bernard said he wrote his own exit routine for a dynamic exit defined to the system by z/OS (consoles, to be specific). The only thing I can imagine is that something had happened when that exit was activated early in IPL. After all, the doc states that the exit would get deactivated at the first sign of trouble. If there is nothing visible that may have happened, then I would open a PMR to the consoles group and ask IBM. Unfortunately no one from the consoles group (or Peter Relson, who would know about exceptions in exit prcessing) here on ibmmain has answered. Yet. One can still hope.
