I want to agree with Barb, the PTF for my 2.3 system had PRE APPLY action to run the "UTILITY" Pointing to a SMPTLIB that never gets created, I did found the 'UTILITY' in SYS1.SAMPLIB, so this left me scratching my head and wondering.
