The copy from the old mount point to the new mount point works while
the original mount point is still in use.  You only take an outage to
unmount the old file system and mount the new file system.  If you
can' t do this, you can update your IPL mounts and it will happen
during the next shutdown / IPL cycle.  The old file system remains as
a backup until deleted.  You won't get any updates from after the
copy.
