find <list> <predicates> -exec /bin/sh -xc "

commands" "$0" {} \;
can do remarkable things such as systematically renaming files.
I wouldn't recommend relying on "the default shell of the user".
for this unless the user supplies the shell commands and they
operate with that user's privileges.
