Thanks. Been down that path. The APAR states that the release doc is
"explicit" in the need for z22 mode, but in fact it is silent.
Now I look in the 2.5 JES2 Tuning and Initialization Reference, and find the
answer:
COLD_START_MODE = z11 | z22 | DEFAULT
So, it seems they IBM was thinking of changing z22 mode to a requirement, but
backed off.
