Scott, It occurred to me that I may be not stating my point in enough detail. The ELA that I was monitoring had a "not to exceed" amount on MMLC, allowing for some new products, some growth, etc. in addition to the other niceties like some discounted PPA products. If I had *exceeded* the ELA cap, then, yes, I would have a true-up amount due at the end of the ELA. The difference between the base and cap was about 25%, IIRC. :-)

But as part of an ELA, you may be able to get discounts on PPA and zOTC and your total spend (including MLC) supposedly goes into the calculation for what kind of discount you get.
