I do not know DB2's position or plan in this area. Having said that, Just to be clear: the value REUSASID(YES) in DIAGxx, now the default, does not mean that REUSASID is the default for any job; it means that REUSASID is not ignored when specified. No job / address space should be started with REUSASID unless the owning program / product indicates that it supports that option.
