Ed, in my experience 15 minutes for the most. I've seen 10 minutes too. IMHO big SMF DATA producers are DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ etc. with their accounting records that are not SMF Interval related. Choosing a maximum of 15 minutes may be better to correlate issues.
