This immediate discussion mentioned proprietary terminals.
If proprietary terminals (allegedly) worked better than
Windows in this situation, can't we achieve the same effect
by having a Windows computer with no access to the internet
and no updates done - at least no automatic updates - to
emulate the situation that proprietary terminals lived in?
