flag the mad ability to run arbitrary script code from the (ring 0) driver.

To be frank, in my mind it's a 'just make it work' attitude I blame, one
that bas been prevalent ever since the first PC soiled its first nappy
(diaper), around the years that MVS+RACF had already achieved MOD (DOD?)
approval from memory.

Sure, the old-fashioned IBM way of doing things was a bit square and boring
for the go-getters, but there's the saying "If you think getting things
right is expensive, try getting them wrong!".

Someone pointed out that the CEO at Cloudstrike presided over a previous
update that broke things in a big way, when he was CEO at a different
company. Is that right? If so, it's shame that experience didn't transfer
with him.
