MLPA and dynamic LPA storage is always key 0. Specifying NOPROT turns off
DAT protection.

The system does not prevent you from putting non reentrant modules in MLPA or
dynamic LPA, but they won't work very well.

Subject: MLPA and NOPROT

Reading the manuals I understand that by using the NOPROT option, MLPA modules
get loaded into non write protected storage. I was trying this and while I
*think* I properly specified it in IEASYSxx, MLPA modules still get loaded in
write protected storage. Is there a way to verify that that option is active?
Is there a way using IPCS to see the subpool / storage key for MLPA memory?

I also played with the SETPROG LPA ADD command and also in this case modules
are loaded in write protected memory (SP241 Key 0). Is there a NOPROT like
option for dynamic LPA?

Finally I was under the impression that one can only put reentrant modules in
[any kind of] LPA, but in my experience both MLPA and dynamic LPA accept non
reentrant modules.

Reason I am doing this is to learn about system integrity exposures to avoid
them.

Thanks!
mario
