As we know DFSMS dataclass is the place when most of dataset parameters can be specified. For some parameters it is (almost) the only way to specify them - i.e. zEDC compression, DVC, etc.

However some dataset parameters can be specified in storage class - I mean striping. And I vaguely remain there was similar "trick" in management class, but I don't remember which one.

Any clue?

Note: I mean dataset parameters, "physical" ones, like RECFM, striping, compression.
I don't mean things like number of backup versions, etc.
Of course Partial Release is disputable, but... this is discussion forum. ;-)
Disputable, because it causes space change.
