I think you're talking about OSA-ICC. Using that solution, it appears we
would need to start eight separate emulator sessions per PC in order to
provide console access to all eight LPARs from a single workstation, a
configuration that appears more difficult to manage than the interface
we currently use. Also, I prefer not to embrace obsolescent or
functionally-stabilized technology where possible.
