We have run COMMAND=IGNORE for as long as I can remember. There are other 
far better and more controlled ways to issue commands.

It's the boy-who-cried-wolf.

Automate it.

The auditors will moan that you shouldn't mindlessly grant authority.

But the automated process can be more selective and more consistent
than overworked operators.
