Wasn't a whole system, but back when I used to go to customer sites a lot, I 
had a red 3480 cartridge that I'd carry with me. If we needed to mount it, 
being able to say "the red one" made it a lot easier for the local operators to 
keep track of.

Until the day I was at a site with an STK silo. They put the cartridge in...and 
the silo said "I see no tape here", no matter what they tried. They wound up 
taking down the silo (which they made out to be a big deal? I never worked at a 
shop big enough to have one) and sending someone inside to physically remove 
the cart. Turns out red lasers and red tape shells don't mix very well...
