Reboot?
How???
Method 1: Logon to HMC and select Reboot. However no user can log on.
Method 2: unplug power from both power supplies. This is the thing I described already and I don't want to perform. Note: SE (Primary or Alternate) is a guest virtual machine of HMC.
Method 3: please advice.

Last but not least: reboot does not solve the problem.

Subject: HMC hang up (z16)

I have observed the following problem:
HMC is hanging up.
I connect to HMC using web browser. So far so good.
Then I click "logon", type user and password and... nothing happens. For hours.
The same problem occurs when I try to logon using local console.
The console is working, I can logon to SE directly, but not to the HMC.
It is *not* single case, since three HMCs were affected. Two of them are
ordered with z16 and reside inside CEC cabinet, the third is carried forward
stand alone PC station (inherited from z15). The HMC version is 2.16.0.

Note: for standalone HMC I simply removed PS cable and enforced PC reboot. It
helped. I don't dare to repeat this brutal method for built in HMA/HMC.

Note2: Both SE works like a charm. I can switch them, logon, etc. The second
HMC inside the CEC box is also OK.

Any clue?
