So instead of passing an LA instruction or building the LA instruction or 
better yet passing the actual address, you chose to convert the BDDD to extract 
the Base register, shift it and calc it's position in the savearea to get the 
base and then extract displacement DDD to be added to the register. Seems like 
an unnecessary and long sequence to me.
