Construction and other types of inspectors. NTSB, FAA, FDA, police and more. You hire a reputable contractor in the hopes he doesn't hire idiots to work on your home. It was hilarious and frightening at the same time when I saw a worker remove a hose bib (outdoor faucet) without shutting off the water and failed to put it back while being sprayed in the face. Then there was the handrail where every screw missed and I lifted it without a problem. I have several personal stories but Peruse YouTube for construction fails and you will shake your head because these aren't isolated incidents. Moral of the story, if you ever have permitted work, then hire your own inspector and have them look for more than minimum code requirements. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
