I couldn't agree more.  It's by far the most complicated, poorly documented 
thing that I've seen IBM do in many many years.

BTW, the LE C interface headers for "Enhanced Ascii" are in 
/usr/include/_Nascii.h.   "Sounds like" the perfect name, which is why I 
exclusively refer to "Enhanced ASCII" as  NASCII .
