I want to add my objection to gil’s about your tone concerning “people” here – and about application programmers in particular.
There are more than a few of us still around who have been working in this environment for multiple decades, and we do clearly understand multitasking, and we do at least try to teach multitasking’s proper uses to the younglings. You don’t know us, so please do not AssUMe you know what we do or do not know.
