Comparing the 90’s investment in distributed systems to the investment in AI today is for fools. Like comparing an F-35 to a paper airplane. AI is here. It’s growing by leaps and bounds. Practically every company is investing heavily in it. Jobs are already being lost to it. NVIDIA is the first company to hit a market cap of 4 trillion. Will no doubt be the first to 5 trillion. Maybe tomorrow. (Earnings) Their revenue growth is astounding. 11 billion in 2020. 130 billion in 2025. Projected revenue is 208 billion in 2026 and 292 billion in 2027. China is also pushing AI and every major country in the world is investing heavily in it.
