If you have zVM, you will be able to install and run it there.
BUT, first, if you can, you want to define at least one IFL in the LPAR where you intend for Linux to run.
I've not seen any Linux Distro being run natively on a z box. Doesn't mean it can't be done, I've just not seen it.
