Actually, this is a solution to my problem, but it is the opposite of what I *thought* you said.
"You can force a command to be passed to the dialog, even if the command exists in the command table, by typing a greater-than symbol (>) in front of the command." https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.5.0?topic=commands-passing-dialog-function So when I'm trying to hit the "AT" function in the dialog, I can skip the command table entry by entering ">AT". It implies that maybe there's a way to create a command table entry that does the same thing, e.g. "ATFUNC" is an alias for ">AT". But I think if I can just remember to enter >AT, I'm good. -----Original Message----- From: IBM Mainframe Discussion List <[email protected]> On Behalf Of ITschak Mugzach Sent: Friday, June 5, 2026 8:29 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: ISPF command table overrides menu I think that adding a > before the command instruct ispf to use a command table.
