Hi, quick correction to my last append: "DAYS(0) basically says to ignore the threshold and migrate all data sets that are eligible, based on the Management Class values. " should read "DAYS(0) basically says to ignore the threshold and migrate all data sets for which automatic space management is supported".
P.S. - As to 'why' DAYS(n) is not supported for SMS managed volumes, I'm not certain, it pre-dates my employment. I suspect that DAYS(0) was added for SMS volumes to provide equivalent function to nonSMS as a way to drain them, but that DAYS(n) was not considered necessary because of the more granular control via management classes.
