Well, I'd be very leery of IBM support. I have TS3500 and *continuous
problems* since day 0. Local CE is able to restart the library (usually
within few *hours*, not counting arrival time), nothing more. Contrary,
3rd party service take seriously their SLA and they're able to deliver
whole devices to swap them (we have also older devices). In few hours if
needed. So, I really prefer 3rd party service. What a pity, the
servieceis not able to perform microcode upgrades, but it is completely
different issue.
